Procedure:

Apply hot melt into the spacer gap to fill the entire area on the unit's front edge.
- Keep the hot melt tip flush to the outer edges of the glass.
- With an even and steady motion, fill from the back of the gap to the front.
- If the IC unit requires a capillary tube, the hot melt must extend down the side of the unit.
- Using silicone press pads or gloves, press the hot melt into the spacer gap, eliminating all air space.

Check for voids.
- A void is any air space within the hot melt.
- Repeat step 3 if voids are found.

Only apply hot melt to 5 units at a time before tooling in the hot melt.
- Transfer the red “Only Seal Five at a Time” tag five units at a time as you seal.
