Procedure:

1. Apply hot melt into the spacer gap to fill the entire area on the unit's front edge.
   1. Keep the hot melt tip flush to the outer edges of the glass.
   2. With an even and steady motion, fill from the back of the gap to the front.
2. If the IC unit requires a capillary tube, the hot melt must extend down the side of the unit.
3. Using silicone press pads or gloves, press the hot melt into the spacer gap, eliminating all air space.
4. Check for voids.
   1. A void is any air space within the hot melt.
5. Repeat step 3 if voids are found.
6. Only apply hot melt to 5 units at a time before tooling in the hot melt.
   1. Transfer the red “Only Seal Five at a Time” tag five units at a time as you seal.
