Bead Corner
Process:
The process for installing bead slip corners in the Finalizing department.
Definitions:

Procedure:
1. Insert a bead corner piece into the four glazing leg corners.
a. Only insert a bead slip corner into DL units.
b. Vents will not receive a bead slip corner.
2. With cutters, trim ¼” off the glazing leg on each side of the bead.
a. Ensure the entire glazing leg is removed. If not entirely removed, the bead will not sit flush when installed.
3. Insert the bead behind the bead corners and pound it in with a mallet.
a. Leave a 1/16” gap between the bead and the backstop of the bead corners.
