Overfill Machine Start Up

How to perform the overfill machines pre-shift inspections.

Procedure:
- Turn on the overfill machine.
- Inspect the machine’s lines and cords for any rips or tears.
- Ensure the gas is switched to argon.
- Check all four argon lines for proper calibration. The correct range is 1.6 – 1.8.
- Turn on the hotplate.
- Check supplies (mallet, punch tool, mylar tape, plugs, etc.)
- Verify you have the correct overfill stickers for the shift.
- Complete the inspection log.
- Notify the team lead of any issues.
