Changing Picker Battery
Overview
            How to correctly change a pickers battery.

Procedure

1. Once the picker battery indicator light turns red. The battery must be changed.
2. Drive the picker to the battery chargers.
3. Park on the opposite side of the wall next to the window wrapping machine. Make sure your picker is facing west with the battery power cord facing the batteries.
4. Lower picker all the way and turn it off.
5. Get the battery cart and line it up so the battery is centered to the cart.
6. Apply the floor brake in the lower back of the cart by stepping on it.
7. Unplug the battery and take off the battery stopper in front of the cart.
8. Adjust cart height to be 1/3 of an inch lower than the battery.
9. To jack the cart up you insert the handle into the jack hole and operate it like a car jack.
10. To lower the cart, you turn the pin located below the jack handle slightly to the left; tightening it back to the right when you’ve reached the desired height.
11. Slide the used battery on to the cart.
12. Once the battery is on the cart drop the red safety bar located at the front of the cart in the slot securing the battery from sliding forward and falling out.
13. Unlock the floor break by pulling up on the break with your foot.
14. Line up cart so that the battery is centered to an empty charging station bay.
15. Apply the floor break.
16. Jack up the cart to be 1/3 of an inch over the charging station bay.
17. Lift safety bar and slide battery on charging station bay flip safety tab at the front of bay to the right.
18. Plug in battery to the charger above (handles facing opposite to each other).
19. Press the start stop button on the charger.
20. Locate a fully charged battery. Charging status will be stated on the chargers above.
21. Press the start/stop button on the charger hooked up to the fully charged battery.
22. Slide battery on cart.
23. Insert battery into the picker and insert battery stopper. (Use the correct battery stoppers L for large batteries S for small ones).
24. Plug in battery (handle towards you).
25. Return cart to its station.
26. If you have any questions, see your team lead and/or supervisor.

 
CAMBIO DEL PROCESO DE LA BATERÍA DEL RECOLECTOR

1. Una vez que la luz indicadora de la batería del recolector se vuelve roja. La batería debe cambiarse.
2. Conduzca el selector a los cargadores de baterías.
3. Estacione en el lado opuesto de la pared junto a la máquina envolvedora de ventanas. Asegúrese de que su recolector esté orientado hacia el oeste con el cable de alimentación de la batería mirando hacia las baterías.
4. Baje el selector hasta el final y apáguelo.
5. Obtenga el carro de la batería y alinee para que la batería esté centrada en el carro.
6. Aplique el  freno de piso en la parte inferior trasera del carro pisándolo.
7. Desenchufe la batería y retire el tapón de batería frente al carrito.
8. Ajuste la altura del carro para que sea 1/3 de pulgada más baja que la batería.
9. Para levantar el carro, inserte el asa en el orificio del gato y lo opere como un gato de automóvil.
10. Para bajar el carro, gira el pasador ubicado debajo del mango del gato ligeramente hacia la izquierda; apretándolo hacia la derecha cuando hayas alcanzado la altura deseada.
11. Deslice la batería usada en el carrito.
12. Una vez que la batería esté en el carro,  deje caer la barra de seguridad roja ubicada en la parte delantera del carro en la ranura para evitar que la batería se deslice hacia adelante y se caiga.
13. Desbloquee el freno del piso tirando hacia arriba del freno con el pie.
14. Alinee el carrito para que la batería esté centrada en una bahía de estación de carga vacía.
15. Aplique el freno del piso.
16. Levante el carrito para que esté 1/3 de pulgada sobre la bahía de la estación de carga.
17. Levante la barra de seguridad y deslice la batería en la bahía de carga voltee la pestaña de seguridad en la parte delantera de la bahía a la derecha.
18. Conecte la batería al cargador de arriba (manijas opuestas entre sí).
19. Pulse el botón de parada de arranque del cargador.
20. Localice una batería completamente cargada. El estado de carga se indicará en los cargadores anteriores.
21. Pulse el botón de inicio/parada del cargador conectado a la batería completamente cargada.
22. Deslice la batería en el carrito.
23. Inserte la batería en el  selector e inserte el tapón de batería. (Uso  los tapones de batería correctos L para baterías grandes S para pequeñas).
24. Enchufe la batería (mango hacia usted).
25. Carro de regreso a su estación.
26. Si tiene alguna pregunta, consulte a su líder de equipo y / o supervisor.
