Depth Probes on the 7500

Procedure:

1. On the sealer computer, press the params button and ensure both depth probes are on “Green.”
2. If adjustments need to be made to the depth probes, enter the password in the Param's screen and press P-18.
3. To adjust,
   1. Making the value less negative will increase the probe reading and increase the amount of sealant put into the unit.
   2. Making the value more negative will decrease the probe reading and put less sealant in the unit.
   3. Any adjustments should be made in small increments (0.20 or less) and will be reflected over the course of the next three units.
4. Adjustments to the sides and corners of the units may need to be made along with adjustments to the depth probes.
5. If an IG unit crashes into the sealer head, check to make sure the depth probes are still attached and functioning properly.
   1. If the depth probes are experiencing any issues, call maintenance.
