Feeding in Prep
Process:
The feeding station on Prep line #1 and line #2
Definitions:
Procedure:

Pull the next frame out of the rack and check for any of the following options:
- WS (wood on sill)
- Gold label certification (indicated by the two letters before the invoice)
- Window type (SH, SV, DV, PW, PM, etc.)
- Orientation of vent (left or right)
- Window color (DW, DK, DT, DA, DQ, etc.)
- If the frame had WS (wood on sill) or NC (noncertified) for its gold label certification indicator, call this out to the other line members.

Bring the frame to the line's staging location and install the needed hardware.

For SH frames.
- Install a spring clip and spring into each jamb.
- Install two shipping blocks into the inner sill of the frame about 1” from the edge.

For SV frames.
- Install two anti-lift blocks into the inner head of the frame, only on the vent portion of the frame.
- Using a pair of cutters, install the track onto the inner sill of the frame.

For DV frames.
- Install four anti-lift blocks into the inner head of the frame. Spread the anti-lift blocks out so two are placed on each vent portion of the frame.
- Using a pair of cutters, install the track onto the inner sill of the frame.

For SH frames.
- Place the frame onto the prep line.
- Place the frame’s mullion inside the frame. Make sure to orient the mullion correctly when placing it into the frame.
