Finalizing Sound Windows
Process:
The process for finalizing sound windows.

Procedure:
SV or SH Frames
- Pull VT harp to the VT side of the line.
- Pull DL harp to the DL side of the line.

On the VT side, set the primary VT and then the secondary VT.
- On the secondary VT, place the NFRC and sound window water warning sticker.
- On the DL side, set the primary DL and then the secondary DL.

On each side of the line, finalize the VTs and DLs in the same order.
- Primary and then secondary.
- When catching, insert the primary VT, secondary DL, and then the secondary VT.
- To prevent any of the sash from falling out, tie the window together with twine.
- Pull VT harp to the VT side of the line.
- Pull DL harp to the DL side of the line.

On the VT side, set the two primary VTs and then the two secondary VTs.
- On one of the secondary VTs, place the NFRC and sound window water warning sticker.
- On the DL side, set the primary DL and then the secondary DL.

On each side of the line, finalize the VTs and DLs in the same order.
- Primaries and then secondaries.
- When catching, insert the two primary VTs, secondary DL, and then the two secondary VTs.
- To prevent any of the sash from falling out, tie the window together with twine.
- Pull DL harp to the DL side of the line.

Set the primary DL and then the secondary DL.
- Place the NFRC onto the secondary DL.
- Finalize the primary DL and secondary DL in the same order.
- Clean the inside of the sound window thoroughly.
- Block the sill of the frame with 7/8” white setting blocks.
- Set and bead the secondary DL into the primary DL.
