Fixed Head press
Process:
Setting and running IG units through the Fixed Head Press.

Procedure:

1. Home the press.
2. Read the label of the first unit going through, set the press to the correct thickness, and put a visual indicator label for the unit's thickness at the front of the press.
3. Run all units with the same thickness that the press is set to.
4. Read all labels prior to sending them through the press.
   1. If the press and unit thickness do not match, the unit will either break or not receive an adequate press.
5. If a unit is a different thickness than the press is set to, store the unit in the holding harp next to the press.
   1. This unit will be run when the press has been adjusted.
   2. Periodically, change the press size to clear out all units waiting in the holding harp.
6. When making any adjustments to the press, ensure the correct visual indicator label for the unit’s thickness is placed at the front of the press.
