Glass Cutter Startup / Shutdown
Process:
How to startup and shutdown the Glass Cutter area.
Definitions:
Any needed definitions
Startup Procedure:

1. Meet with or read note from counterpart.
2. Analyze area setup and set production goal for the day.
3. Make sure all employees have an assignment, understand the area goals for the day, and startup on time
4. Verify the status of remakes that need to be processed.

Shutdown Procedure:

1. Leave a note for counterpart.
2. Ensure all trash and broken units are taken out of the area.
3. Collect area numbers and report to the supervisor.
4. Make sure the next shift has a good setup for their startup.
5. Push out all remakes from the area and properly communicate what remakes are still in process.
6. Meet with employees to review percentages and receive ideas & feedback.
7. Turn off lights in the glass area at the end of the night.
