Clearing off Glass Cutter Tables

The process for vacuuming and blowing off glass cutter tables to reduce scratched lites.

Vacuum
- At the beginning of each shift, both the cut and breakout tables need to be vacuumed off.
- In between each sheet of glass, the breakout table needs to be blown off.
- Start by blowing off the area closest to the cutter and then working your way down the table.
- Avoid blowing towards the cutter / cut table.
- Always blow the lose glass shards away from the cutter / cut table.
