-
The Lisec lines are equipped with 3 nozzle sizes. #10, #20, and #30.
- #10 is for 3/8 spacer.
- #20 is for 7/16, ½, 5/8, and 9/16 spacer.
- #30 is for 11/16, ¾, and 13/16 spacer.
- On the LVL monitor, go to the main menu.
- Click on “OPERATING MODE”.
- Click on “NOZZLE MANAGMENT”.
- The screen will show a desired (recommended) nozzle size and the clamped (current) nozzle size.
-
If the desired and clamped nozzle sizes are different, change the clamped nozzle size.
- The only situation you would run with different clamped and desired nozzle sizes is when you are spacer changing.
- To change the nozzle, loosen the two bolts holding the nozzle into the hotmelt applicator head.
-
Once the old head is removed, insert the new head, and slowly walk the two bolts in.
- Be careful not to overtighten one side too much and cause cross threading.
- After changing click the arrow button. To transfer info to the clamped nozzle.
- Verify the desired and clamped nozzle sizes are the same.
- Confirm the yellow message by pressing the blue blinking “CONFIRM” button on the console.
- Perform a purge for 2-3 seconds to make sure the nozzle is not leaking out the sides.
