Mylar Tape for Mended Corners
Process:
The process for mending Super Spacer corners with mylar tape.

Procedure:

Before applying any tape, pinch the corners together so they are touching. Open

On the Erdman 7000, 7500, and Fixed Head, the corners will overlap and butt together.

On the Lisec lines, the corners will come together at a 45% angle.

On the Erdman 7000, 7500, and Fixed Head, the corners will overlap and butt together.

Apply a 1.5” piece of mylar tape over the mended corner.
- Ensure no tape is applied to the glass.

Apply the tape so ¾” worth of tape is on each side of the spacer.

- The Lisec lines are equipped with a mylar tape applicator. All other lines will need the mylar tape to be applied by hand.
