Painting Black-Black Frame and Sash
Process:
The process painting the corners of DQ frames.

Frame

Start by blowing off the frames on the rack to eliminate any excess debris left on frames.
- Be cautious of anyone standing near the blow off distance.
- Place frames on table from rack.
- After placing frames on the table, place bumpers by each corner of the frame to prevent color transfer onto other frames and giving enough room to dry properly.
- Place precut cardboard on top of each corner to insure an even spray.

Using the air brush guns evenly coat the frame with the premade black paint.
- When painted slider frames or PM frames make sure to spray the inside of each corner covering all white lines top and bottom.
- After spraying each corner on one side, flip the frame over and repeat steps 3-5.
- After Both sides of frame are painted take the frame off the table. Place the frames on rack by the prep line Starting with the lowest sequence number. (ex. 1,2,3,4….)
- When placing the frames on the rack ensure that the bumpers are secure between each frame to avoid color transfer.

- Be cautious of anyone standing near the blow off distance.
- Place sash from U-cart on to the table.
- Place precut cardboard on top of each corner to ensure an even spray and to avoid overspray.
- Using the air brush guns evenly coat the frame with the premade black paint.
- After spraying each corner on one side flip the frame over and repeat steps 2 and 3.
- After completing both sides place sash back on U-cart starting with the lowest sequence number. (ex. 1,2,3,4….)
