Masking Studio Sash
Process:
The process for prepping studio sash for the paint booth.
Definitions:
Procedure:

1. Read the label to see if the interior or exterior needs to be painted.
   1. If the label says “Paint Exterior” you will mask the interior.
   2. If the label says “Paint Interior” you will mask the exterior.
2. Start by blowing off any excess debris from the sash.
3. Remove the label and place it off to the side.
4. With 1” yellow masking tape and a utility knife, tape the corners of the sash.
5. With 2” yellow masking tape and a utility knife, start taping around the weather strip.
   1. Tape needs to cover all the surface area.
   2. Ensure there are no tears or unmasked areas.
6. Tape the original label to the top of the masked sash.
7. Place the masked sash on a rack with the correct color identifying sign.
