Equalite Adapter Installation
Process:
The process for installing equalite adapters into frames.
Definitions:
Procedure:

1. Make holes in the equalite adapters on punch A-12.
   1. Place holes 1” from each end of the equalite, and if needed, additional hole(s) so no distance 17” or greater exits between the holes.  
2. For SV and Slider PW / PM frames, punch weep holes into both ends of the equalite adapter that will be connected to the frame’s sill on punch A-55.
3. Place the frame material into the equalite clamping table.
4. Snap the equalite adapter into the frame material.
   1. Make sure the miter cut on the frame and equalite adapter line up.
5. Clamp in equalite adapter into place using the clamping table.
   1. Be careful not to get your hands pinched in the equalite clamping table.
6. With 8 X 1 ¼” Phillips Vinyl Hold Screws, attach the equalite adapter to the frame material.
7. Disengage the equalite clamping table and remove the vinyl material.
8. Inspect the equalite adapter to make sure it was installed with no gaps and is straight.
