Equalite Process
Process:
The process for installing equalite adapters into frames.

Procedure:

Make holes in the equalite adapters on punch A-12.
- Place holes 1” from each end of the equalite, and if needed, additional hole(s) so no distance 17” or greater exits between the holes.
- For SV and Slider PW / PM frames, punch weep holes into both ends of the equalite adapter that will be connected to the frame’s sill on punch A-55.
- Place the frame material into the equalite clamping table.

Snap the equalite adapter into the frame material.
- Make sure the miter cut on the frame and equalite adapter line up.

Clamp in equalite adapter into place using the clamping table.
- Be careful not to get your hands pinched in the equalite clamping table.
- With 8 X 1 ¼” Phillips Vinyl Hold Screws, attach the equalite adapter to the frame material.
- Disengage the equalite clamping table and remove the vinyl material.
- Inspect the equalite adapter to make sure it was installed with no gaps and is straight.
