Procedure:
- The screen bag cutout consists of one page per screen bag. Each bag will have 1-20 screens. A small label on the edge of each screen, on the side with springs, lists the bag and invoice numbers (this will not apply to stock screens).
- Screens will be bagged sequentially based on bag/batch number. Depending on the quantity of each bag, multiple screen carts may be used.
- Gather all the screens associated with the bag based on the bag number and bag quantity. The stock screens will be on the stock racks by the wall.
- Arrange the screens on the table from wide to narrow, with springs on the right side. This orients the screens to the proper label location and helps protect them during shipment.
- Wrap the bottom 6” of the screens (approx. 6 wraps) with shrink wrap to bind screens together and prevent damage.
- If the bag consists of a single screen or all screens are the same size, wrap all four sides of the screen(s). Place the barcode in the upper right corner of the wrap. These screens will NOT be placed in bags.
- Place all screens and the bag cutout page into the bag, then staple them across the bag's opening to secure them. Place the barcode on the upper right corner of the bag.
- Scan the barcode on the label to “DNCUS” and place the label near the upper right corner of the bag next to the spring.
- Completed bags are then placed on a red rack grouped by either Will Call or Delivery and staged by the wall outside of the area to be taken to delivery.
