Process:
The process of changing nozzles on the 7500.

Procedure:

1. On the hotmelt applicator monitor, select "nozzle change screen". Then choose the desired nozzle size and select "move to nozzle change position". Verify that "service position" is selected and press the "START" button.
2. Put yellow gloves on and open the gate. Starting with the top nozzle, insert the metal nozzle changing rod into the hole in the nozzle housing, then press forward to open it.
3. Clean off any excessive hot melt around the old nozzle and remove it from the housing.
   1. Return the old nozzle to the correct position in the hotbox.
4. Select what top and bottom nozzles you need from the red hotbox.
   1. Small, medium, or large.
      1. Small: 7/16” and 3/8” spacer
      2. Medium: 9/16” and ½” spacer
      3. Large: 5/8”, 11/16”, 13/16”, and 7/8” spacer
5. Insert the new nozzle into the nozzle housing and close it by sliding the metal nozzle changing rod into the hole and pulling it back to secure the nozzle in place.
6. Close the gate, and then perform a 2-3 second purge with the hotmelt applicators.
   1. Check for any hot melt blowby on the newly installed nozzle.
