Procedure:
-
Retrieve the correct paperwork for the next cart being sprung.
- If the paperwork is not back on the spring wall, it will be on the Final Paperwork Rack by the blue door leading into the office.
- Pull the next mullion pigeonhole cart to the designated cart springing area.
-
Using the spring paperwork, place the correct springs into their designated pigeonholes.
- Slot two springs into each slot that calls for springs.
- The springs are listed by size and strength (EX. 26-4 is size 26”, strength 4).
- If the spring size called for is missing and a Red Alternative Use flag is in its place, use the substitute spring size called for on the Red Alternative Use flag.
-
If a new box of springs needs to be opened, open the box by tearing or cutting the front open.
- When a new box is opened, remove the piece of cardboard with the label and put it in the designated inventory control box.
- After completing the paperwork, verify all slots have a track, filler bars, or springs.
- Sign the spring paperwork and place it in the top right pigeonhole.
-
Transport the now-sprung mullion cart to the mullion cart staging area in prep.
- This area only accommodates three carts. Do not fill the mullion cart staging area with more carts.
