Steel PD T-bar Rebar
Overview of process

Procedure:
- On the patio rebar cutout, look for the Steel T-bar rebar #0788-3
- This rebar comes in precut 8-foot lengths. Any rebar shorter than this will need to be cut out of this precut size.
- Count and pull the number of pieces that will need to be cut and take them and the paperwork to the steel cutting chop saw that has a cutter disk not a saw blade.
- Measure and mark the needed size on the rebar with a sharpie.
-
With the open side of the rebar facing toward the back fence, line the cutting disk up with the mark and tighten the clamp against the rebar to hold it firmly in place.
- If you are cutting two pieces simultaneously, face them to each other to make a square.
- Pull the saw slowly and smoothly through the rebar at a speed that does not overload and lug down the saw.
- After cutting, release the trigger and lift the saw until it is fully open and the blade has stopped.
- Put the cut-off in the scrap bin.
- Put the proper label on the rebar.
- Paint the end of the rebar to keep it from rusting.
- Put the rebar in the cart with the rest of the rebar for each batch.
