Procedure:
Silicone Attachment.
  1. With the T-bar oriented to create an upside-down letter T, apply a bead of silicone to the head of the T and down the sides until the glazing bead cavity.
    1. Ensure each end of the T-bar receives silicone.
  2. Insert the T-bar into the frame.
    1. Avoid smearing the silicone edges and compromising a future seal.
  3. Apply a bead of silicone to the four pre-punched T-bar holes in the frame.
  4. Attach the T-bar to the frame with two (#6 X 2” gold screws) on the outside of the nail fin and two (#8 X 3” gold screws) on the inside of the nail fin.
  5. Clean off any silicone squeeze out from around the T-bar.
Gasket Attachment
  1. Apply a Studio Direct Set T-bar Gasket to the end of the T-bar.
    1. Ensure each end of the T-bar receives a gasket.
  2. Insert the T-bar into the frame.
    1. Avoid rolling the gasket and compromising a future seal.
  3. Apply a bead of silicone to the four pre-punched T-bar holes in the frame.
  4. Attach the T-bar to the frame with two (#6 X 2” gold screws) on the outside of the nail fin and two (#8 X 3” gold screws) on the inside of the nail fin.
