-
At the beginning of each shift, check the voltage on the line ejection batteries?
- The batteries should each have 12V.
- Check the computer to make sure the battery charger is set to “auto”.
-
If the batteries have less than 12V, turn the charger from “auto” to “on”.
- Once the batteries reach their needed charge, turn the charger back to “auto”.
- Hot glass can only be in the oven for about 1 minute before it starts melting on to the rollers. If the oven stops for any reason, the glass in the oven needs to be out within 1 minute.
-
If the oven is put into E-stop, quickly check why the E-stop was triggered.
- Reset the E-stop.
- Clear all glass that is at the exhaust table.
- Raise the quench by turning the quench dial to “OPEN”
- Press the red “ABORT” button.
- Wait 5 seconds then press “ABORT” again to abort the second bed of glass.
-
As the glass comes out of the exhaust, allow the glass to fall to the floor.
- Do not try to catch the glass! The glass is extremely hot.
- Put the heat suit on if needed.
- Once all beds have been ejected, preform a short shutdown.
- Clear the loading bed of any glass.
- Turn the load clutch dial to “AUTO”.
- Turn the emergency drive dial to “ON”.
- Turn the oven drive dial to "OFF".
- Allow the glass to run backwards out of the oven and onto the floor.
- With a metal pole, shatter any glass left on the rollers.
-
Take care not to burn yourself on any got glass.
- Put the lines heat suit on if needed.
