Wrapping Windows
Process:
How to correctly wrap windows in Delivery.

Procedure:

Windows that need to be wrapped will be brought out to the Wrap area by Receiving.
- All wrapped windows say “WRAP” on their barcode labels.
- All painted windows need to be wrapped.

Inspect the window for any quality issues before placing corners.
- Check for scratched glass, dirty glass, and bad grids.
- Ensure the window is not damaged, cracked, or missing fins.

Ensure the window does not miss any additional options.
- SDL bars, WOCD, Mulled, etc.

For nail fin, stucco key, and flush fin windows 71.5” X 47.5”, 59.5” X 59.5”, and smaller, place Styrofoam corners on each of the four corners of the window.
- The Styrofoam corners fit three different profiles (Nail fin, Flush fin, and Stucco key).
- For nail fin, stucco key, and flush fin windows 71.75” X 47.75”, 59.75” X 59.75”, and larger, place a protective foam sheet and cardboard on each of the four corners of the window.
- After placing the needed corner protectors on the window, place the window onto the wrapping machine belt with the sill facing the machine.

After the window has been wrapped, place the window into the rack corresponding to the window's delivery destination.
- Pad all windows that contact the racks.
- When a rack is full, pallet jack the rack to the central aisle to be put away.
